Sophie is a spider who loves to spin beautiful webs. Everyone she knows thinks she is very talented. Then one day she moves to a boarding house and begins to spin webs for the people there, but everyone is afraid of her. They don't notice her beautiful creations because they think she is scary and ugly. She finally finds a young woman who isn't afraid of her and spins her most amazing creation ever.
I liked this book because I could understand how Sophie felt, and I admired her determination. I think it has a good lesson about doing what you love even if no one notices.
